This is a statement of the privacy and data protection policy of Utrecht Free Tours, located in Utrecht, The Netherlands. We think carefully about the privacy aspects of any information that may be collected from the users of our website. Our intention is to follow both the letter and spirit of any relevant legislation.

This statement covers the website utrechtfreetours.nl, and any communications using the domain name of utrechtfreetours.nl.

Personal data or personal information is any data about you by which you can be identified.

When you use our website, like most websites we use Google Analytics technology to give us an approximate idea of where the site access is coming from. This detail is accurate roughly to the size of a medium city, where your access might be one out of one hundred thousand people in that area. We collect that approximate location, the approximate time at which web pages were accessed, and which page you were previously looking at. We also record whether the device was a desktop, laptop, tablet or phone.

We do not collect anything else.

In more detail, we do not collect information able to uniquely identify a person, such as cookies or your IP address. In addition, we do not make public the very limited information that we do collect. We use it internally to ensure the correct operation of our web site. We do not use personally targeted advertising. We never ask you to sign in to the website.

If you choose to communicate with us using for example an online form or email, we only use any information internally. We do need to ask for your email address in order to reply.

The very limited data above that we do collect is held on the servers of Google in various locations. It may be copied to servers and a small number of personal computers at Utrecht Free Tours.

If you wish us to delete previous emails and any other correspondence with you, please contact us. We will aim to do so promptly.
